Welcome to Scone & Scribe—a quiet corner of the internet where poetry meets purpose, and raw expression finds a home.
I’m Micheal Moreno, the poet behind the pen name Xero, and the hands behind this brand. For years, I’ve balanced 12-hour shifts in a physically demanding job with a desire that never left me: the call to create, to write, and to help others find their voice through poetry—especially during the hard times.
This space was born from my own battles with burnout, writer’s block, and the ache of feeling unseen. Writing became my therapy, my rebellion, and my roadmap home. Now, I’m building something for people like me—those who feel too much, carry too much, or are just trying to find their way back to their creativity and their truth.
Because I know what it’s like to feel like your creativity has gone quiet—and what it means to finally hear it whisper again.
Because I believe that words are healing.
Because I want to give hope to anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, or the feeling that they don’t belong.
And because, one day, I want Scone & Scribe to help fund second chances for people who’ve been forgotten—those coming out of prison, people fighting their way back from the brink, and everyone who just needs a little help finding their voice again.
Whether you’re here for inspiration, tools, or just to be reminded that someone else gets it—welcome. Pour some coffee, dip your pen, and follow me.
Hey, I'm Micheal—also known as Xero.
I’m a poet, a deep thinker, and someone who’s had to fight hard to keep my spark alive while working long shifts in a physically exhausting job. Writing has always been my outlet—my way of processing pain, celebrating small joys, and reaching people I may never meet face-to-face.
I created Scone & Scribe as a love letter to anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed, overlooked, or creatively blocked. It’s a space where we can shed the pressure to be perfect and just be real—where your voice, your story, and your emotions are not just welcomed, but needed.
Under the name Xero, I write with rawness and vulnerability because that’s how I connect most deeply with the world. Whether I’m crafting poetry prompts, meditating on a verse, or just showing up in the messy middle, my hope is that something I share helps you feel seen and less alone.
I’m also passionate about giving back—especially to causes that support mental health and second chances for people rebuilding their lives after prison. As this platform grows, so will its impact.
Whether you’re here to heal, create, or just remember how to feel again, I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s write something beautiful together.
